The ongoing research program in our lab aims to unravel how animals adapt to novel ecological challenges by integrating the eco-evolutionary consequences of behavior at different levels: from genes to phenotypes, populations, and entire biological communities. Ongoing work includes work on two study systems established in the Caribbean and the Balearic Islands where we are investigating the ecological and evolutionary consequences of biological invasions for island endemic species and the ecosystems they live in.
